Hello! I’m Lucy, the founder of jóia. I consider myself a magpie - a lover of all things sparkly and shiny, especially rings.

My obsession with vintage jewellery started on my 18th birthday when my grandma gifted me a ring. It was a ring that she had bought for herself when she was in her early 20s, with a little bit of money that she inherited when her mother passed away. It was so special to feel like I became a part of that story. Since then I’ve built up my own personal collection of pre-loved jewellery. I really believe in its quality and value, and I love the legacy and story that you get to continue by owning a ring with history. 

p.s. jóia is the word for jewel or gem in Portuguese, which is a country close to my heart.
